Lost animals remain in our care until their mandatory holding period passes. After the holding period passes, the animal will be placed up for adoption. This process is different for each animal, some may need to be spayed or neutered depending on age and whether they've already been fixed. Each animal receives a thorough examination upon entering the PRSPCA to ensure there is no illness or injury. For more information, give us a call.
