Surrender a pet

Important Notice Regarding Surrenders

We know surrendering a pet is very difficult. Please, do not abandon animals outside the shelter. Help us learn about your pet so we can ensure we find the right home. We understand that life changes very quickly and much like you, we want to see the best for your pet. If you have any questions regarding the surrender process or if you would like to book an appointment with our staff, please call 780-624-3633 or email info@peaceregionalspca.com. 

What to Bring​

  • Your pet’s veterinary records, if you have not emailed them in advance

  • Proof of ownership for your animal (licensing records, proof of microchip/tattoo, bill of sale, veterinary records with your name, etc.)

  • Supplies like food, water, and other comforts.

  • A donation to help care for your pet while it awaits its new home.
